Sporting Kansas City announced today the club’s matchday programming schedule for the MLS is Back Tournament, featuring pre-match and post-match coverage on FOX Sports Kansas City and live radio broadcasts of Sporting matches on Sports Radio 810 WHB and its sister stations as well as La Grande 1340 AM.
As Sporting’s exclusive television partner, FOX Sports Kansas City will deliver a 60-minute pre-match show—Sporting KC Live presented by Michelob Ultra—for each of the club’s three group stage games in the MLS is Back Tournament as well as a 30-minute post-match show following the Group D finale against Real Salt Lake on July 22.
FOX Sports Kansas City programming will see play-by-play commentator Nate Bukaty and color analyst Jacob Peterson joined by sideline reporter Carter Augustine, who will provide on-site updates from Sporting’s camp at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
All FOX Sports Kansas City programming can also be streamed on the FOX Sports GO app and at FOXSportsGO.com by customers of pay-TV providers who receive FOX Sports Kansas City. For a full list of FOX Sports Kansas City channel numbers, click here.
Sporting’s official radio partners will also air all three group stage matches live, with La Grande 1340 AM carrying each game in Spanish. Sports Radio 810 WHB will broadcast matches on July 12 and July 17, while ESPN 94.5 FM and 1510 AM will carry the group stage finale on July 22.
In addition, SportingKC.com will stream a replay of all three group stage contests. A schedule of match replays will be announced soon.
