The annual Sporting Kansas City Media Game returns next Sunday, May 4 when members of the local press have the opportunity to showcase their soccer talents at halftime of Sporting’s home match against reigning MLS Cup champions the LA Galaxy at Children’s Mercy Park.
This year, 30 media members battle it out for an intense 10-minute showdown in front of raucuous Children’s Mercy Park for ultimate bragging rights among the press.
The media will be split into teams of 15, with Team Sporting wearing the club's new One KC primary jersey, and Team Wizards rocking the throwback jerseys from the 2024 adidas x MLS Archive Collection.
