Sporting Kansas City boosted their playoff hopes in a big way last Saturday, earning a 2-1 comeback win over the San Jose Earthquakes at Children's Mercy Park.
The game-winning goal came from an unlikely source, as center back Graham Smith slotted home in the 76th minute to help the hosts secure a precious victory and move within six points of playoff positioning in the crowded Western Conference.
