This week's edition of the Sporting KC Show aired on Sports Radio 810 WHB on Tuesday as hosts Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost and Jacob Peterson welcomed goalkeeper John Pulskamp as a special guest.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper recently signed a new contract with the club and started in Sporting's 4-2 win over FC Dallas in the U.S. Open Cup earlier this month. Pulskamp now has eight career appearances for Sporting Kansas City in addition to 32 matches played for Sporting Kansas City II.
A California native, Pulskamp began his professional career by signing for Sporting KC II in 2019. He was added to the Sporting KC first team roster in 2020 and joined the full U.S. Men's National Team at the end of 2021 for a two-week training camp.
Sporting Kansas City will resume play in the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at 7:30 p.m. CT tonight against Houston Dynamo FC at Children's Mercy Park in the Round of 16. Tickets are available online at SeatGeek.com and are included in Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Member packages.
