This week's edition of the Sporting KC Show aired on Sports Radio 810 WHB on Tuesday as hosts Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost and Conall McCourt welcomed defender Kayden Pierre as a special guest.
The 19-year-old right back has made his first three appearances for Sporting Kansas City this year - including his first start for the club in last week's thrilling 4-2 win over FC Dallas in the U.S. Open Cup -- in addition to three games played with Sporting Kansas City II in MLS Next Pro. Pierre also joined the United States Under-20 Men's National Team for a training camp from April 22-30 in preparation for the Concacaf U-20 Championship this summer, which will serve as qualification for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Sporting Kansas City (2-7-3, 9Â points) will host the Colorado Rapids (4-4-3, 15 points) at 7:30 p.m. CT tonight at Children's Mercy Park in a rematch with last year's top team in the Western Conference.
Tickets are available online at SeatGeek.com and the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a "Two States, One City, One Club" poster courtesy of the club's First Team partners. Fans can also take advantage of multiple promotions for the mid-week match, including Nurses Night as well as the Michelob Ultra Moment Pack and the Coca-Cola Family and Friends Pack.
Tonight's match will be locally televised on 38 The Spot with three hours of coverage beginning at 7 p.m. CT.
