This week's edition of the Sporting KC Show aired on Sports Radio 810 WHB on Tuesday as hosts Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost and Conall McCourt welcomed forward Nikola Vujnovic as a special guest.
The newest member of Sporting Kansas City's squad, Vujnovic arrived on loan from FK Vozdovac in Serbia and has made six appearances in Major League Soccer. The 25-year-old Montenegrin international tallied 10 goals and an assist during the 2021-22 SuperLiga season in Serbia.
Sporting Kansas City will host Columbus Crew SC at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday for College Night at Children's Mercy Park, featuring packages that include a match ticket and co-branded scarf for fans of the following area schools: University of Kansas, University of Missouri, Kansas State University, University of Missouri - Kansas City and Johnson County Community College. Tickets for Saturday's cross-conference clash are available online at SeatGeek.com and match sponsor Price Chopper will give away 5,000 reusable bags to attendees after the match while supplies last.
The match-up with the 2020 MLS Cup champions will be locally televised on 38 The Spot with three hours of coverage beginning at 7 p.m. CT. The broadcast will also stream live on SportingKC.com and in the Sporting KC app for viewers in Kansas and Missouri (excluding St. Louis area per MLS policy), as well as ESPN+ for out-of-market subscribers. Local radio broadcasts will also air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
