This week's edition of the Sporting KC Show aired on Sports Radio 810 WHB on Tuesday as hosts Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost and Jacob Peterson welcomed midfielder Uri Rosell as a special guest.
Rosell, 29, returned to Kansas City as a free agent prior to the 2022 season after spending the last four years with Orlando City SC. The Spanish midfielder previously played three seasons under Manager Peter Vermes from 2012-2014 - highlighted by helping the team capture the 2013 MLS Cup -- before transferring to Portuguese powerhouse Sporting Lisbon where he played in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
Sporting Kansas City (3-8-4, 13 points) will resume play in the 2022 MLS regular season at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday at Children's Mercy Park against the New England Revolution (4-5-4, 16 points). The nationally-televised cross-conference clash will air on ABC and ESPN Deportes.
