This first edition of the Sporting KC Show in 2023 is now available as hosts Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost Martin and Conall McCourt are joined by Sporting Kansas City Manager Peter Vermes.

Vermes enters his 15th season in 2023 as the longest-tenured head coach in MLS history and is slated to remain at the club through 2028 with a five-year contract extension announced on Wednesday. His 222 coaching victories in all competitions are the most in club history and he has won four major trophies during his tenure – the 2012, 2015 and 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups and the 2013 MLS Cup championship, making him the only person to ever win the MLS Cup as both a player and a coach with the same team.
Sporting Kansas City will open the club's highly anticipated 2023 campaign at 9 p.m. CT on Monday with a road match against the Portland Timbers at Providence Park in Portland, Ore.Â
The MLS is Back finale caps off a full slate of matches on Matchday 1, all of which will be available to watch free on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
