Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club has waived goalkeeper Parker Siegfried.
Siegfried, who on April 15 was loaned to Sporting on a semi-guaranteed contract for the 2021 MLS season, will now return to USL Championship club Louisville City FC.
Sporting Kansas City will continue their regular season campaign on Saturday, visiting rivals Real Salt Lake in a 1 p.m. CT kickoff at Rio Tinto Stadium. The Western Conference clash will be shown live on Bally Sports Kansas City Plus, Bally Sports Midwest Plus, the Bally Sports app and BallySports.com in addition to airing locally on ESPN 94.5 FM and La Grande 1340 AM.
