Sporting Kansas City will kick off the club's highly anticipated 2023 Major League Soccer campaign tonight in Portland, Ore. against the Portland Timbers at Providence Park. The Western Conference clash will kick off at 9:09 p.m. CT and will stream free on the Apple TV app in both English and Spanish with pre-match programming starting at 8:40 p.m. CT.

The team's 28th season will continue with a road trip to face the Colorado Rapids at 8:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. The match will stream live on Apple TV for MLS Season Pass subscribers and will be shown at the club's official watch party at No Other Pub (1370 Grand Blvd.) in the Kansas City Power & Light District - highlighted by a happy hour starting at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday - as well as other pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network.

Radio coverage for both matches will air locally in English on Sports Radio 810 WHB and in Spanish on La Grande 1340 AM with streams available in the Sporting KC app.

ARGYLE ACE DRAWING ON TUESDAY

A new edition of The Sporting KC Show will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT on Thursday with hosts Aly Trost Martin and Nate Bukaty. The Sporting KC Show Podcast is available on Spotify , iTunes and SportingKC.com , giving supporters a weekly destination to catch up on club storylines, player achievements, guest interviews and more.

SPORTING KC II TRAVELS TO TULSA

Sporting KC II opened the team's 2023 preseason presented by Central Bank earlier this month and will travel to play USL Championship side FC Tulsa at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday. In preparation for the upcoming MLS NEXT Pro season, Sporting KC II head coach Benny Feilhaber will then take the team to Dallas from March 5-9 to play Richmond College on March 6 and North Texas SC on March 9. ACADEMY CONTINUES MLS NEXT SEASON

The Sporting KC Academy will continue the 2022-23 MLS NEXT season on Saturday at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Mo., as the Sporting KC U-14s (vs. Colorado Rapids), U-15s, U-17s and U-19s (vs. FC United Soccer Club) will be in action starting at 10 a.m. CT. After playing Minnesota United on Saturday, the U-15s and U-17s will host the Houston Dynamo in a doubleheader kicking off at 10 a.m. CT on Sunday.
