Sporting Kansas City will close out the month of June with a pair of matches this week, traveling to face the 13th-place LA Galaxy at 9:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday at Dignity Health Sports Park before returning home to host the 14th-place Chicago Fire at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park.
Sporting will host a watch party for Wednesday's Western Conference match-up at No Other Pub (1370 Grand Blvd.) in the Kansas City Power & Light District featuring a ticket giveaway as well as food and drink specials highlighted by $4 domestics, $5 wells and 50% off select appetizers.
Tickets for Saturday's cross-conference clash are available online at SeatGeek, including the Sporting U Pass featuring $15 Supporters' Stand tickets for college students.
Both matches will be broadcast live on Apple TV in English and Spanish with the mid-week match in LA exclusive to MLS Season Pass subscribers (sign up for a one-month free trial ) and Saturday's showdown free for all fans. In addition, local radio coverage will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM with streams in the Sporting KC app and all of the action will be shown by pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network.
SKC ACADEMY AT MLS NEXT CUP SHOWCASE
The Sporting KC Academy will conclude the 2022-23 season with the MLS NEXT Cup Showcase this week in Dallas. The U-15s face Beadling SC today before taking on TSF Academy - NJ at 1 p.m. CT on Tuesday. The U-17s will play Baltimore Armour at 7 p.m. CT tonight followed by a match versus Met Oval at 10:30 a.m. CT on Wednesday. MO ABUALNADI AND MARINOS TZIONIS WITH NATIONAL TEAMS ON TUESDAY
A pair of players have been selected to represent their national teams in international competition during the June FIFA window. Sporting Kansas City II defender Mo Abualnadi has been called up to the Jordan U-23 National Team and scored twice in the 2023 WAFF U-23 Championship in Iraq. Jordan will play Oman on Tuesday in the Third Place match. Sporting KC forward Marinos Tzionis has joined Cyprus for the continuation of UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying and started against Georgia on Saturday. Cyprus will next visit Norway at 1:45 p.m. CT on Tuesday.

On Friday, Sporting KC is hosting free pick-up soccer games for local players ages 18 and older from 6-8 p.m. at The Soccer Lot (2525 Jefferson St.) in Kansas City, Missouri. Attendees can RSVP online in advance.
AWAY TICKET REQUESTS FOR HOUvSKC ON JULY 8 CLOSE FRIDAY
Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members, as well as members of Sporting Kansas City supporters groups, are eligible to receive complimentary tickets for Sporting away matches. Requests will close this Friday for HOUvSKC on July 8 and requests are also currently open for CINvSKC on July 23. Requests close two weeks before each away match or once the allotment of away supporters tickets is reached.
SKC II HOSTS BARK AT THE PARK ON SUNDAY IN LAWRENCE
After a 2-0 win at LAFC2 on Sunday, Sporting KC II will continue the MLS NEXT Pro campaign when SKC II hosts North Texas SC at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas. The Frontier Division match-up is the venue's first-ever Bark at the Park and tickets are on sale at SeatGeek.com. Fans interested in bringing their four-legged friends to the match must fill out a waiver.
