Sporting Kansas City hosts the Chicago Fire in MLS regular season play at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday. The Eastern Conference matchup will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. A limited number of tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.com including standing room only tickets for $20.
In preparation for the match, Sporting KC will train at 10 a.m. CT on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Wednesday will be the team's lone off day this week. Training on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday will be open to media in their entirety. Friday and Saturday will be closed until the final 15 minutes for b-roll followed by interview opportunities.
Monday is the final day to place your vote for Sporting Legends, an initiative launched by Sporting Club in 2013 that pays tribute to club icons and provides a platform for inductees to re-engage with the local soccer community. The five nominees for the 2014 Sporting Legend are Jimmy Conrad, Mo Johnston, Chris Klein, Peter Vermes and Kerry Zavagnin. The inductee will be selected on a weighted vote through social media and SportingKC.com and will be unveiled as the newest member of the Sporting Legends in a halftime introduction ceremony at a Sporting KC match later this summer at Sporting Park. Fans can vote online and on Twitter using the hashtag #VoteSporting.
Summer in the Soccer Capital, presented by The Sprint Framily Plan continues on Tuesday as Sporting KC hosts a 2014 FIFA World Cup Watch Party for the U.S. Men's National Team against Belgium at KC Live! in the Power & Light District. The Round of 16 matchup will kick off at 3 p.m. CT. Admission to the KC Power & Light District for Summer in the Soccer Capital is free for all ages. Food and drink specials are available for supporters, as well as limited edition "For Club and Country" merchandise.

Twitter voting for the AT&T MLS All-Star game will begin on Wednesday. Fans can vote for their favorite player by sending a tweet using the hashtag #MLSAllStar with that players first and last name or Twitter handle. Fans can vote for only one player per tweet but their is no limit to the number of tweets a user may submit for any one player. Voting will close on Sunday, July 6.
