After a 1-0 win over Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park in Sporting Kansas City's home opener, the team will return to the road to take on the Colorado Rapids at 8 p.m. CT this Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The match-up with Colorado, who finished atop the Western Conference last season, will be televised on 38 The Spot with three hours of coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.
The broadcast will also stream live on SportingKC.com and in the Sporting KC app for viewers in Kansas and Missouri (excluding St. Louis area per MLS policy), as well as ESPN+ for out-of-market subscribers. In addition, Sporting KC pub partners across the Midwest will be showing the match and local radio coverage will also be available on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.

ACADEMY AT SWOPE SOCCER VILLAGE
The Sporting Kansas City Academy U14's, U15's and U17's will continue their MLS NEXT campaigns on Saturday morning against Houston Dynamo FC, playing a doubleheader at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City. T he U14's and U17's will kick off the festivities at 9 a.m. CT, followed by the U15's at 11 a.m. CT. On Sunday, the U19's will also be in action against Louisiana TDP Elite at 9 a.m. CT, followed by the U14's playing at 11 a.m. CT with both matches being held at Swope Soccer Village. Admission is free and open to the public and fans can follow @SKCAcademy on Twitter for in-game updates throughout the MLS NEXT season.
SKC II CONTINUES PRESEASON
Swope Soccer Village will also be the site of Sporting KC II's preseason exhibition against Union Omaha at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday. Sporting KC II is coming off a 1-0 win at USL Championship side FC Tulsa and Sunday's scrimmage will be free and open to the public with in-game updates available from @SportingKCII on Twitter.
ALEKZANDUR AT eMLS CUP ON SUNDAY
Sporting Kansas City's eMLS representative Alekzandur will compete in eMLS Cup presented by Coca-Cola on Sunday at SXSW in Austin, Texas, as the competition's No. 4 seed. In addition to a $35,000 prize pool, the top three finishers at eMLS Cup will progress to the Global Series Playoffs for a shot at the FIFAe World Cup title.
