Sporting Kansas City announced today that Lyft has been named the club’s preferred rideshare partner throughout the 2018 Major League Soccer season.
The ongoing partnership with Lyft includes a rideshare platform that provides fans with a wide range of ride options to and from Children’s Mercy Park. The newly-branded Lyft Lot on the northeast side of Children’s Mercy Park will serve as an easily identifiable location for drivers to conveniently pick up and drop off riders to ensure a great gameday experience.
Sporting Kansas City supporters will also receive exclusive offers through the partnership, including unique promo codes for discounts on roundtrip rides between Children’s Mercy Park and No Other Pub on game days.
"We are excited to be the preferred rideshare partner of Sporting Kansas City and look forward to providing convenient and reliable transportation for fans headed to games," said Jake Darby, Lyft General Manager.
“This club is committed to constantly improving the experience for our guests and this partnership with Lyft will make an additional amenity available for our fans,” said Sporting Kansas City President and CEO Jake Reid. “The partnership aligns two innovative organizations and we’re excited to team up with Lyft to deliver a quality benefit and service.”
