Wednesday at 1 p.m. CT, Sporting Kansas City striker Alan Pulido will participate in an Instagram Live interview on Major League Soccer's Instagram account at @mls.
Prior to the suspension of the 2020 MLS season due to COVID-19, Pulido had enjoyed a scintillating start to life with Sporting. The Mexican forward scored in the club's first two matches of the campaign, burying a header in a 3-1 victory at Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Feb. 29 and striking once more in a 4-0 home-opening defeat of the Houston Dynamo on March 7 at Children's Mercy Park.
Pulido, 29, moved to Kansas City this winter with his wife to begin his first season in MLS, having spent most of his career in Mexico with Liga MX giants Tigres UANL and Chivas de Guadalajara. He was crowned the Liga MX scoring champion last fall, netting a dozen goals in 18 appearances for Chivas, before Sporting acquired his services on a club-record transfer fee.
