The Sporting U NIL update is back! Let’s check back in with our NIL athletes and catch up on their biggest moments, results, and all things NIL.
University of Kansas midfielder/forward Hallie Klanke had a busy September as she scored two goals in four matches. The Lee’s Summit, Missouri, native continues to lead Kansas in goals (4), assists (5), and points (13) this season. Not to mention, the Jayhawks remain undefeated in matches where Klanke finds the back of the net!
University of Kansas running back Devin Neal also continues to impress on the big stage. Neal ended September with an impressive overall record of 5 wins and only 1 loss. Neal has found the back of the endzone four times this month, with one of them being a game-winning rush against the Nevada Wolfpack on September 16.
National headlines from our NIL athletes continue with K-State defender Jericho Frigon! Opendorse, the largest NIL marketplace organization in the country, featured her NIL deal with Sporting Kansas City as one of their weekly spotlights on social media. Frigon and the Wildcats will face six Big XII opponents this October, with four of the matches being played in Manhattan.
University of Missouri kicker Blake Craig and Mizzou Football continue to succeed this season with a 5-1 overall record. Mizzou Football heads to Lexington to play Kentucky this Saturday, October 14 at 6:30pm CT.
University of Missouri midfielder Keegan Good and Mizzou Soccer are looking forward to making a final push into the postseason this month. The Parkville, MO native has contributed valuable minutes for the Tigers this month with stellar performances in all 7 matches. Good and Mizzou Soccer are back at home Thursday, October 19th for Homecoming as they take on Tennessee at 6pm CT.
