With Major League Soccer's 2020 campaign currently suspended, a pair of professional gamers representing the clubs will go to battle instead.
Sunday at 3 p.m. CT, Sporting's Alekzandur will lock horns with LAFC's RemiMartinn in a FIFA 20 contest that will stream on Twitch.tv/eSportingKC as well as Sporting's Twitter, Facebook and YouTube platforms.
Sunday's FIFA 20 matchup will serve as an appetizer for the semifinals of the eMLS Tournament Special, which will see Alekzandur and Sporting midfielder Wan Kuzain face RemiMartinn and LAFC striker Adama Diomande in the semifinals of the high-profile FIFA 20 competition. Fans can catch the eMLS Tournament Special semfinals and finals at 5 p.m. CT on May 17, televised nationally on FS1 and streaming on the FOX Sports app.
