Sporting Kansas City announced Wednesday that Sports Radio 810 WHB will broadcast both Sporting Kansas City matches in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in the 2011 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Play-by-play commentator Callum Williams and color analyst Jake Yadrich will call the action during the radio broadcasts. Fans will also be able to listen live online at 810WHB.com and via the free Sports Radio 810 app.
Sports Radio 810 WHB, America’s largest all-sports radio station and Kansas City’s ESPN Radio affiliate, aired Sporting Kansas City’s inaugural match at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park this season and has hosted the one-hour Kansas City Soccer Show since 2010.
As the top seed in the Eastern Conference, Sporting Kansas City will await the winner of tonight's Wild Card match between Columbus and Colorado as their opponent in the Eastern Conference Semifinal round. Regardless of opponent, Sporting Kansas City will be on the road for the first leg on Sunday, October 30th at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The club will then return home to host the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park on Wednesday, November 2nd at 7 p.m. CT. Leading up to kickoff, Between the Lines with Kevin Kietzman on Sports Radio 810 WHB will air live from the Members’ Club at LSP from 2 – 6 p.m. CT.
