The Big 12 Soccer Championship is returning to Kansas City for the fifth consecutive year.
Eight women’s soccer programs will battle for the Big 12 crown this week at Children’s Mercy Victory Field inside Swope Soccer Village. Quarterfinal matches are set for Wednesday, followed by a semifinal doubleheader on Friday and the decisive championship game Sunday at 2:30 p.m. CT.
One-day passes for the women's soccer championship are on sale for $8 and three-day all-session passes are available for $15. A 15-ticket team pack (15 one-day passes) is also available for $100. Team packs can be purchased by calling 888-4KC-GOAL.
The top eight teams based on points during conference play have advanced to the annual championship, with Oklahoma State owning the top seed after finishing conference play with an 8-1-0 record and a 15-2-2 mark overall.

No. 1 Oklahoma State (15-2-2, 8-1-0) vs. No. 8 Oklahoma (3-12-4, 1-5-3)
Oklahoma State edged West Virginia for the Big 12 regular season title, receiving four goals during conference play from Big 12 Soccer Offensive Player of the Year Haley Woodard. Senior midfielder Anna Beffer joins Woodard on the All-Big 12 First Team for the Cowgirls, who defeated in-state rivals Oklahoma by a 2-1 scoreline on Aug. 25.
No. 4 Texas (13-2-2, 5-2-2) vs. No. 5 Baylor (10-5-2, 4-4-1)
Texas newcomer Haley Berg received Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors, tallying five goals and two assists for a Longhorn team that went its first 15 games unbeaten before falling to Kansas on Oct. 13. Baylor midfielders Julie James and Aline de Lima were All-Big 12 First Team selections and will lead a team that has dropped two straight, including a 1-0 decision to Texas on Oct. 20.
No. 2 West Virginia (14-3-1, 7-1-1) vs. No. 7 Texas Tech (9-6-3, 2-4-3)
As the reigning conference champions and national runners-up, West Virginia will look to defend its title in the coming days. Anchored by All-Big 12 First Team defenders Amandine Pierre-Louis and Bianca St. Georges, the Mountaineers conceded just three goals in nine conference matches. This is a meeting of the previous two Big 12 Championship winners, as Texas Tech lifted the trophy in 2015 as the No. 5 seed.
No. 3 TCU (12-5-1, 6-2-1) vs. No. 6 Kansas (8-9-2, 3-5-1)
Kansas is capable of beating just about anyone, having dealt Texas its first loss two weeks ago, but losses in four of their last six games dropped the Jayhawks to the six seed. Kayla Morrison was named Big 12 Co-Defender of the Year and will lead the KU backline against All Big-12 First Team goalkeeper Katie Lund and TCU. The Horned Frogs won the first meeting between the sides 1-0 on Sept. 22.
