Sporting Kansas City's team offices are now open in the Lowe & Campbell historic building at 1511 Baltimore Avenue in Kansas City, MO. Located at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Truman Road (map below), the offices are conveniently located in the iconic Crossroads Arts District and within walking distance of the popular Power & Light District.
Built in 1925, the historic six-story building was home to Lowe & Campbell -- a local sporting goods company that later merged with Wilson Sporting Goods -- until 1961 and was most recently occupied by the Hanna Rubber Company. Recent renovations include a new rooftop bar with a full kitchen and indoor/outdoor seating with views of the downtown skyline, as well as a first floor cafeteria and fitness space.
Just a 1/2 mile from the team's former offices on West 19th Terrace, the new offices will also serve as the home of Sporting Innovations, the sports technology company launched in October 2011 by managing partners Robb Heineman and Asim Pasha. In July, SpecChem, LLC (led by CEO Greg Maday) and C3 Capital, LLC (co-founded by Pat Curran) will also join as tenants.
On-street parking is available for the public, as well as reserved spaces (including a handicap parking space) inside the Baltimore Avenue entrance. Additional overflow parking is located behind the building in a lot near Truman Road and Main Street.
