Now in its second year, Sporting Kansas City and The Victory Project announced today the second ever jackpot winner for Argyle Ace presented by Mazuma.

Sherri Hutcherson from Lee's Summit, Mo., was presented with a check for $10,765 -- half of the overall jackpot with the other half of proceeds directly benefiting The Victory Project -- during halftime of Sporting Kansas City’s home match on Saturday at Children’s Mercy Park. Joining her on the field for the recognition was her husband and Sporting Kansas City Community Programs Manager Chioma Atanmo.

In addition to winning the jackpot on March 22 of this year, Hutcherson previously won a team-signed soccer ball in 2021 through her participation in the Argyle Ace raffle which features weekly Sporting prizes and a progressive cash jackpot to raise funds for The Victory Project.

The Victory Project is a charitable foundation established by Sporting in 2013 that helps children through all of life’s challenges by uniting players, staff, fans and community partners across the Kansas City and Midwest regions. Through numerous events and initiatives, The Victory Project is dedicated to enhancing and enriching the lives of children battling cancer, providing special experiences and opportunities to children with disabilities and making the sport of soccer more accessible to children with limited financial resources.
