The Victory Project partners with Slim Chickens for Round Up Campaign during the month of March

Slim Chickens

Sporting Kansas City announced today a partnership between The Victory Project -- the club’s foundation for philanthropic initiatives supporting childhood cancer and access to soccer – and Slim Chickens to raise funds at local restaurants as part of a Round Up Campaign during the month of March.

“At the Victory Project, we support kids battling cancer and help provide more access to soccer,” said Chioma Atanmo, Senior Director of Community Impact and the Victory Project. “We use soccer as a force for good in the community and we’re excited to partner with Slim Chickens to help us spread our mission!”

“Our philosophy around giving back is pretty simple: go where you can do some good and do some good,” said Jeff McCoy of AP Restaurant Group. “We look for projects and relationships where we can have a positive impact. The Victory Project is one that matches our family community brand.”

Customers at the six Slim Chickens locations in the Kansas City region will have the opportunity to support The Victory Project and its mission by rounding up their purchase from March 1st to March 31st. All donations from the campaign will go directly to The Victory Project to enhance and enrich the lives of children with cancer in addition to making the sport of soccer more accessible for kids with disabilities and kids with limited financial resources.
