Tickets for Sporting Kansas City's semifinal match in the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Aug. 12 at Sporting Park are now on sale via Ticketmaster.com.
Sporting Kansas City earned a 3-1 quarterfinal victory over Houston Dynamo last Tuesday and will now play budding rival Real Salt Lake for the fourth time this season with a berth in the final at stake. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Sporting KC kicked off the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with a 1-0 win over Saint Louis FC on June 16 before routing FC Dallas 6-2 on July 1. Both matches were played before sellout crowds at Sporting Park, which has now attracted the largest attendance in the Round of 32, Round of 16 and quarterfinal round of this year's tournament.
Sporting KC and Real Salt Lake have met three times in the 2015 regular season, first playing to a 0-0 draw at Sporting Park on April 11. Real Salt Lake picked up home wins last Friday and on June 21, both by a 2-1 scoreline.
The 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is headlined by the largest field in the modern era (1995-present) with 89 teams in contention when the first round began in May. The tournament has been held annually since 1914 and is open to all amateur/professional soccer teams affiliated with U.S. Soccer. This year’s winner will earn $250,000 and a berth into the 2016-17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.
