Sporting Kansas City announced today that Saturday's home match against the LA Galaxy will now air nationally on UniMas and TUDN, in addition to the local broadcast on 38 The Spot, with an English-language live stream available on Twitter.
Kick off is set for 7:33 p.m. CT at Children's Mercy Park in the first of two meetings between the MLS charter clubs in 2022. Tickets for Saturday's Western Conference clash, presented by UMB, are available online at SeatGeek.com as the team honors the service and sacrifice of military members and their families with the fifth annual Sporting Salutes match.
The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive Sporting Salutes lapel pins as the club recognizes local Purple Heart recipients in conjunction with National Purple Heart Day on Aug. 7. The festivities will also include a pre-match flyover, a special SportingStyle collection and a concession discount for fans with a military ID.
