As the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup reaches the semifinal stage, the U.S. Women's National Team is ready to take on Germany at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday in Montreal. Carli Lloyd’s header gave the United States a 1-0 win over China on Friday and now No. 1 ranked Germany stands in the way of a spot in the World Cup final.
Germany (2003, 2007) and the United States (1991, 1999) have each won two World Cup titles, tied for most of any nation, and will now meet for the fourth time in World Cup history. Kansas City was the highest-rated local market in the country for the United States' last World Cup match, which was watched by a network-record 5.7 million viewers on FOX.
