The Victory Project held its annual Recycle Your Game clinic last Thursday at the 9th & Van Brunt Athletic Fields in Kansas City, Missouri.
After providing new and gently used soccer gear to more than 50 children from nearby Whittier Elementary School, staff and players from the Sporting Club Network, Sporting Kansas City and Swope Park Rangers conducted an hour-long clinic with the kids in attendance.
In the weeks leading up to the clinic, The Victory Project collected soccer equipment donations at a variety of Sporting Club Network events as well as Sporting KC and SPR home games. The philanthropic initiative is designed to give local youth in underserved communities the proper equipment they need to play the beautiful game.
