Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake were supposed to write the newest chapter of their Western Conference rivalry on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park.
Alas, the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the match to be postponed. However, Sporting and RSL still plan to go head-to-head this weekend, just on a different competitive platform.
Sporting midfielder Wan Kuzain will put his FIFA 20 credentials to the test at 1 p.m. CT Saturday when he faces RSL goalkeeper David Ochoa in a showdown that will stream live on Twitch.tv/eSportingKC and via @eSportingKC on Twitter.
Kuzain and Ochoa will play a two-legged series with aggregate goals determining the winner. Should the keepers remain deadlocked after both legs, a third and final match will decide who prevails.
Stay tuned to Sporting Kansas City's Twitch channel for future live streams with Sporting players and make sure to follow @eSportingKC on Twitter. The club plans to stage several FIFA 20 live streams until the MLS regular season resumes.
