In every All-Star Game in every sport, there will be snubs. There will always be players who many thought were worthy of being recognized who for one reason or another did not get selected for the match. This year's MLS All-Star Game as no different two of the leading candidates for MLS Best XI honors - Sporting KC's Tim Melia and Ike Opara - were not selected for the match by Chicago Fire head coach Veljko Paunovic. Paunovic addressed Melia's exclusion at yesterday's prematch press conference.
