Sporting Kansas City will cap off seven games in the month of August when they travel to take on the Colorado Rapids at 8 p.m. CT on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The match will be shown live locally on KMCI-TV 38 the Spot and across the Midwest on SKCTV affiliates with three hours of on-site coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT. In addition, radio broadcasts will be available on 99.3 FM (English) and 1340 AM (Spanish).
Chance Myers will be making a special appearance from 5:30-7 p.m. CT tonight at the Sprint store (1813 Village West Parkway) at Legends Outlets Kansas City in the first of three events encouraging fans to recycle a phone. The first 10 supporters in attendance at tonight's even will win a variety of prizes, including match tickets, merchandise and signed memorabilia.
The Sporting KC Open will start at 9 a.m. CT tomorrow at Loch Lloyd Country Club (16750 S Country Club Dr.) in Belton, Missouri with proceeds benefitting The Victory Project and The Child Protection Center. Sporting Kansas City players will tee off alongside other golfers in support of local youth and two noteworthy charities that serve area kids.
Benny Feilhaber will be at Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen (1859 Village West Parkway) in Kansas City, Kansas for a new episode of The Sporting KC Show from 7-8 p.m. CT on Tuesday. Fans can join the discussion on Sports Radio 810 WHB with hosts Andy Gruenebaum, Dave Borchardt and Carter Augustine by calling 913-3-810-810.
On Wednesday, Seth Sinovic will be on campus at Johnson County Community College (12345 College Blvd.) in Overland Park, Kansas from 1-2:30 p.m. CT. The school will be hosting bubble soccer for students at the Regnier Center south lawn, where Sinovic will be available for autographs and photo opportunities.
Sporting Kansas City fans can also meet Roger Espinoza and Feilhaber at MO Sports new location (9767 N. Cedar Avenue) in Kansas City, Missouri during a free autograph session from 6:30-8 p.m. CT on Wednesday. The pair of MLS All-Stars will sign up to two items per person and guests are welcome to bring their own personal items.
Online voting will end at 1:59 a.m. CT on Friday for MLS Goal of the Week, featuring Graham Zusi's superb strike against the Columbus Crew SC on Saturday. The World Cup veteran has won Goal of the Week honors four times during his career and is up against four other Week 25 nominees.
Friday is also the final day for Sporting Kansas City season ticket members to receive renewal rewards through the First Chance campaign. Season Ticket Members can renew their season tickets by calling their Client Services Executive or through their Sporting KC Account Manager online.
Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members will also have priority consideration for receiving a complimentary ticket to the 2015 U.S. Open Cup Final between Sporting KC and the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at PPL Park.
