Sporting Kansas City will begin a late-season stretch of four important games in an 11-day span when the team takes on Western Conference rivals Houston Dynamo (9-12-8, 9th place) at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, followed by a nationally televised match-up with Seattle Sounders FC (14-13-3, 4th place) at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday at Sporting Park. Seeking a fifth straight postseason berth, Sporting KC (12-8-8, 5th place) sits four points ahead of seventh place San Jose and four points behind Supporters' Shield leaders Vancouver.

Wednesday's match will be the fourth meeting between Sporting KC and the Houston Dynamo in 2015 after both teams moved from the Eastern Conference for Major League Soccer's 20th season. Each of the previous two regular season affairs ended in stalemates -- 4-4 at Houston in April and 1-1 in Kansas City last month -- while Sporting prevailed 3-1 in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals. The match will be televised locally on 38 the Spot and across the Midwest on SKCTV affiliates with three hours of coverage beginning at 7 p.m. CT.

Sporting KC then returns home to host Clint Dempsey, Obafemi Martins and the Seattle Sounders FC live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday at Sporting Park. A limited number of tickets are still available, including standing room only tickets released earlier today, via Ticketmaster.com while supplies last. The first 10,000 fans inside the stadium will receive a Sporting KC tote bag courtesy of UMKC and all fans are encouraged to arrive early to be in their seats for a special display, presented by Sprint, at the end of the national anthem.

In conjunction with Sunday's match, Sporting Kansas City is offering a "Match Day Experience Camp" for boys and girls between the ages of 7-14 years old. The $200 registration fee includes a ticket to the match, an adidas Sporting KC t-shirt, a pre-game chalk talk, a behind-the-scenes tour of Sporting Park, fieldside access for warm-ups and a training session led by Sporting KC staff on the pitch after the game. For more information on youth camps -- including the upcoming Speed & Agility sessions -- visit SportingKC.com/camps.

Sporting Kansas City will train at 10 a.m. CT on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri. Media are welcome to attend with player/coach availability taking place at the completion of each day's session.

Tonight, Sporting KC midfielder Roger Espinoza will make a special appearance at the Sprint store (343 NW Barry Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri from 5:30-7 p.m. CT to meet fans, sign autographs and take photos. A similar event will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. CT on Monday, Oct. 19 with a Sporting KC player in attendance at the Sprint store (11411 W. 95th St.) in Overland Park, Kansas.

A new episode of The Sporting KC Show will air live on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT on Tuesday via 810 AM, online at 810whb.com or through the station's free mobile app. Fans can join the discussion with hosts Nate Bukaty, Andy Gruenebaum and Carter Augustine by calling 913-3-810-810.

MLSsoccer.com will unveil this year's edition of "24 Under 24" on Tuesday for the sixth annual recognition of the top young players in Major League Soccer. Two from Sporting Kansas City are among the 75-player short list of individuals eligible for consideration: homegrown defender Erik Palmer-Brown (18) is the second youngest player up for the distinction and first round SuperDraft selection Amadou Dia (22) is the only rookie defender on the list.
