Sporting Kansas City announced Tuesday that Woodson City Rangers have joined the Sporting Club Network as a Sporting Kansas City Juniors affiliate. One of St. Louis' newest soccer clubs, Woodson City Rangers was founded in 2010 by new Sporting Kansas City Juniors coach Tommy Howe. The club joins Blue Valley Soccer Club, Kaw Valley Soccer Association and TSC Hurricane as official Juniors affiliates within the Sporting Club Network.
The affiliation will provide each club’s players with a direct connection to the Sporting Kansas City technical staff, as well as both the junior and senior teams. Coaches of each Sporting Juniors affiliate will have unprecedented access to advanced coaching and training methods and techniques provided by Sporting Kansas City’s technical staff.
