Kalen Ricketson

Sporting Kansas City signed Kalen Ricketson, an 18-year-old battling osteosarcoma, ahead of their rivalry match against Real Salt Lake on Sept. 30, 2018, at Children’s Mercy Park.

Ricketson, a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma, is the latest individual to have a wish granted through The Victory Project’s Sporting Wishes initiative, which fulfills dreams of youth who are diagnosed with a secondary cancer or relapse after treatment.
