2016: Played in 24 games in the regular season, starting 12. Made three further appearances in the USL Cup Playoffs, all as a substitute, scoring the Rangers’ lone goal in the USL Cup Final against New York Red Bulls II on Oct. 23. Granitto made his debut for Sporting Kansas City in a CONCACAF Champions League matchup against Central FC on Oct. 19, recording an assist on Cameron Porter’s goal.
2015: Granitto made 12 appearances for FC Edmonton in the NASL – six in the Spring Season and six in the Fall Season. He made his season debut against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers on April 19, playing the full 90 minutes in midfield. Granitto also played in three Amway Canadian Championship games, including appearances in both legs against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on May 14 and 21.
Before USL: In 2013, Granitto played in his native El Salvador for CD Luis Angel Firpo, where he gained experience in the CONCACAF Champions League – starting against CD Victoria of Honduras.
International: Granitto made three appearances for El Salvador at the 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, earning starts against Australia and Colombia.
College: Granitto played one season at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he made 15 appearances during his freshman year, helping the Eagles to a 12-6-2 overall record.
Personal: While he was born in El Salvador, Granitto’s family is from Argentina.
