Sporting Kansas City announced today new mobile ticketing options for supporters available through the Sporting KC Uphoria app. Sporting KC Uphoria is a free mobile application available for download on all iPhone or Android phone devices.
Keeping a focus on innovation, new Uphoria features include flexible tickets for Season Ticket Members and last-minute tickets available for purchase via text, email or social media. These new offerings are delivered in partnership with Experience, the award-winning fan experience technology company. In addition to offering flexible ticket options, Sporting KC Uphoria will also include the ability to purchase upgraded seats at Children’s Mercy Park as well as VIP experiences during Sporting KC home matches.
“These new products from Experience allow fans to customize how they enjoy their matchday at Children’s Mercy Park,” Sporting KC President Jake Reid said. “By offering our fans flexibility with their tickets and empowering them to choose what kind of experience is important and personal to them, we are able to create lifelong supporters in ways that complement our focus on innovation.”
Later this season, fans will have the option to purchase a multi-match subscription. With the subscription, fans can buy a standing room only ticket for a strip of designated matches and be the first to be notified via text message if they have received a complimentary upgrade.
Fluid Ticket for Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members
Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members can return unused tickets for credit or add tickets, all via mobile. Leveraging Fluid Ticket technology from Experience, Sporting Kansas City supporters can enjoy increased flexibility for their season ticket membership.
The Return Tickets option gives Season Ticket Members unable to attend a match the ability to receive guaranteed value for their unused tickets in the form of a credit that can then be used to purchase seat upgrades, VIP Experiences, and additional tickets to accommodate larger group sizes at future matches.
Season Ticket Members can also utilize the Add Tickets feature to exchange their current seats for a larger group of seats together in a new location. Additional non-contiguous seats may also be purchased to accommodate an expanded group size at the last minute. Season Ticket Members can access Add Tickets up to four weeks prior to any match and up until kickoff.
The Sporting Kansas City Pass
Also delivered in partnership with Experience, the Sporting Kansas City Pass, on sale for only $22 per Pass, will allow fans to sign up and receive a text notification when Standing Room Only tickets become available on matchday. If specific seat locations are not available, Pass holders can view the game from various areas around Children’s Mercy Park. Seat locations will vary by match and offers are first come, first served, with limited inventory.
Upgrades and Experiences for All Fans
Seat upgrades and experiences will again be offered for purchase to all fans through the Uphoria app. New experiences will be added throughout the 2016 season and all experiences require a primary ticket to the match. Some of this season’s experiences include:

Fans can pull right up to Children’s Mercy Park’s most exclusive parking area and simply valet alongside the players’ and coaches’ cars. - UMB Field Club Postgame Access
Fans can access this all-inclusive club and enjoy premium cocktails, wine, beer, and a chance to see postgame interviews with coaches and players. - Ameritas Shield Club Access
Fans gain exclusive access to this premium club, with benefits of first-class amenities as well as premium food and beverage options. - Photo On the Pitch
Fans can take a photo down on the Children’s Mercy Park pitch with friends, family and guests immediately following the match. - Boulevard Members Club Access
Fans can access this unique club environment and receive the best deals on food and drink, view multiple TV's and experience an unrivaled atmosphere.
