The Swope Park Rangers will host Phoenix Rising FC in the USL Cup Playoffs Western Conference Quarterfinals this Saturday, Oct. 21 at Swope Soccer Village. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT from Children's Mercy Victory Field, with tickets available via SeatGeek.com.
The Rangers clinched a postseason berth with a 3-1 win at Colorado Springs on Sept. 23 before sealing a home playoff game in their regular-season finale - a 2-1 victory over Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Oct. 11.
SPR claimed the fourth seed for the second consecutive season, going 17-8-7 (58 pts.) edging out Phoenix on goal difference who finished fifth with an identical record. The Rangers finished the season a +18 goal difference, while Rising FC trailed at +13, allowing SPR to host Saturday's Quarterfinal matchup.
In their inaugural season in 2016, the Rangers advanced all the way to the USL Cup Final as Western Conference Champions but fell to New York Red Bulls II in the final at Red Bull Arena.
