Swope Park Rangers striker Nansel Selbol has advanced into the Semifinals of the USL's Fans' Choice Goal of the Year competition. The 20-year-old's curling effort in a 2-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC 2 on July 20 is now up against FC Cincinnati's Andrew Wiedeman for a spot in the final round of voting.
Selbol initially beat out another of his goals - against LA Galaxy II - in the Round of 16 before edging Louisville City FC's Mark-Anthony Kaye in the Quarterfinals.
