The Rangers will host a Kick Off Party from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 at Fox & Hound (10428 Metcalf Ave.) in Overland Park, Kan., ahead of the club’s 2018 home opener on Saturday, March 24 at Shawnee Mission South District Stadium against Seattle Sounders FC 2.

The Kick Off Party is free for fans of all ages to attend and will feature food and drink specials, as well as the opportunity to meet Rangers players and coaches. The team, highlighted by nine new signings and new head coach Paulo Nagamura, will sign autographs and will be available to play interactive games together with fans, including pool, ping pong, darts, PacMan and basketball.
The team’s two Western Conference championship trophies will be on display as well for photo opportunities and fans will have their first chance to purchase new SPR merchandise from SportingStyle. Rangers Season Ticket Members can also pick up their complimentary scarf during the event.
In addition, The Rangers will host a free youth clinic for players aged 6-14 from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14 at Shawnee Mission South District Stadium, the club’s new home field in 2018. SPR players will lead participants through 90 minutes of activities, including a Q&A opportunity and autograph session.

The Rangers will conclude their preseason campaign this Saturday when they take on UMKC at 2 p.m. at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Mo. The exhibition is free and open to the public to attend with match coverage available by following the club on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat (swoperangers).
