Twenty years after the Kansas City Wizards took their team picture at The Kansas City Zoo, the 2019 Sporting Kansas City squad has replicated the photo to a tee.
That brings us to Sunday, when Sporting Kansas City will host reigning MLS Cup champion Atlanta United FC in a highly anticipated Retro Night showdown at 8 p.m. CT.
An important heads-up: the first 10,000 fans through the Children's Mercy Park gates on Sunday will receive a free Retro Night poster courtesy of The Kansas City Zoo, featuring the 1999 Wizards on one side and the 2019 Sporting team on the other.
Tickets for the Retro Night matchup are available now at SeatGeek.com, including a limited-time Cinco de Mayo Tailgate Package consisting of a ticket, an all-you-can-eat Mexican buffet on the Toyota Plaza and two alcoholic beverages or Coca-Cola products.
