The eSporting Classic is coming to Smash.gg this Saturday, Nov. 2, giving fans the opportunity to compete to become the next eMLS player for Sporting Kansas City. Registration for the inaugural event is now open.
The first-place contestant will receive $100 worth of FIFA Points, second place will receive $100 worth of FIFA Points, and third place will receive $50 worth of FIFA Points.
Important Information
- The Qualifier Round will be on held Saturday, Nov. 2. Check-in starts at noon CT and the tournament will begin at 1 p.m. CT sharp.
- The top eight players from the Qualifier Round will be invited back to compete next Saturday, Nov. 9.
- All participants must be 16 years or older to participate in the tournament. They Must live in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, Texas or Colorado.
- All matches will be played on the PS4 console.
- In the event of a top-eight finish in the Qualifier Round, contestants must be available to partake in the eSporting Classic Top 8 Finals on Saturday, Nov. 9 at noon CT.
How to Play
- Step One:Register for the eSporting Classic on Smash.gg before Saturday, Nov. 2. Check in on Saturday at noon CT and remain active on Discord.
- Step Two: Compete with your favorite MLS FIFA team.
- Step Three: Place in the top eight during the Qualifier Round. Compete in the eSporting Classic Top 8 Finals, featuring a double-elimination bracket, where the winner will be given a chance to become Sporting Kansas City's eMLS Player. Players must communicate via Discord with the Tournament Organizer.
