Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Adrian Zendejas is one of five nominees for the USL Championship Fans' Choice Save of the Week.
Playing on loan for the Swope Park Rangers in Saturday's matchup against Nashville SC at Children's Mercy Park, Zendejas made a fantastic diving stop to deny former teammate Kharlton Belmar before recovering to thwart Daniel Rios on the doorstep in the 23rd minute.
Zendejas' superb showcase of athleticism is on the Week 22 fan voting ballot through Friday at 11 a.m. CT. The 23-year-old is up against El Paso's Jermaine Fordah, OKC Energy FC's Cody Laurendi, Louisville's Chris Hubbard and Bethlehem Steel's Todd Morton.
The Rangers (3-11-6, 15 points) return to action Saturday, visiting Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (9-3-8, 35 points) in an Eastern Conference clash at Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT with a live stream on ESPN Plus.
