Thoughts on the match…
It was a fantastic performance from the guys. The emphasis this whole week was to be able to play a 90-minute game and they did that against the best team in the league. It was good to see.
How does it feel to perform like this against the conference leaders…
It’s just a measuring stick for us, right? We’ve been improving over the last couple of months. We just played a team who has only lost one game, and even in that game they were very unlucky to not get something out of it, so, it’s good to not only get the three points but to play well. It was a good measuring stick for us.
What was the attitude during the two-hour weather delay…
We wanted to go toe-to-toe with them the whole game. We did that in the first half, outplayed them and got up two-nothing. We wanted to make sure that we were able to do that in the second half. You know that teams like that are never going to go out easily and they had a spurt of 5-10 minutes in the beginning of the second half after the delay where they were after us, and we bent but we didn’t break. I’m glad we didn’t give up any goals which has been one of our downfalls this year. Then obviously being able to counter and get the third and eventually the fourth and finish off the game the right way.

Thoughts on the match…
Dominate performance from minute one to ninety. Tonight, we sent a statement to the league. We were just saying we have to stay dialed, if the game is going to happen, we have to act like the game is going to happen. When we get out there the next goal is super important, and we can manage the game from there.
On his assists…
For Nassim, I told him on the next one go to the first post. I saw that they were marking the back post a lot. He made a really good run and a really good finish. For Felipe, he’s got such an engine, made a good run in from behind and I just found him, and he did the rest of the work.
How big is the win for the team’s confidence…
It’s huge for the confidence, of everyone in the locker room. If you didn’t believe in us, everyone believes in us now. We know that we are capable of being the best team in the league on our day.

Thoughts on the match
Obviously, it was an interesting one with the weather delay. Usually, you go inside thinking it’s going to be 30-40 minutes and it ended up being two hours. We played really well in the first half, kept possession really well, kind of had them on their heels. After the lightening delay they came out and definitely had us on our heels a bit. I was able to do my job and keep us in it. I thought we played well, especially against the top team in the league. Good result, very good result.
On his saves, and performance tonight…
You’re always going to get called upon, especially against a good team like Colorado. It’s just a matter of staying focused, especially through the weather delay. So, stay focused and be ready when you’re called upon.
On earning a clean sheet against such a good opponent…
Of course, this win was always going to feel good, and especially after the weather delay. It showed a lot of mental fortitude to push through that kind of stuff and be ready when we came back out.
