Thoughts on the match…
It was a good start I thought. Obviously, we get the early goal which we’ve done in all our matches this year but not a good response after that. I thought Houston deserved the two goals in the first half to take the lead. They played well and played through us. We were slow in being able to connect with our press and our secondary press and so we shifted a little bit of what we wanted to do in the second half, and I thought it looked very good. In terms of the performance, the guys they were able to break that press pretty easily in the second half. We connected into the offensive third, created several promising attacks but the final pass wasn’t there. The final shot wasn’t there. Obviously, that alluded us all night really.
On scoring first in every match this season…
I just think we have a good mentality. Going into the game we’re ready from the beginning of the game and we want to try and get out in front. A lot of the things that we saw in the first five, six minutes, we saw in the second half it was just that we weren’t very good with the final ball and the final finish. We just didn’t see that in the second half. We just have to get back on the training field and continue to work and continue to become more efficient.
On Pau Vidal and Sebastian Cruz’s performances…
I thought they both played a pretty good game. I thought Pau’s movements were good again. I think that the reality is that we should have scored more goals today. We were in very good spots with very good runners in good places in the box and we just couldn’t seem to find the right pass or the right shot in the right moment of the game. Those two guys are obviously important players in the game, and they’ll continue to be throughout the year.

Thoughts on the match…
I think we did a pretty good job. We were better in the second half. We had chances and I think we should have scored more goals with our opportunities. They had a great team, and it was not our match, so we have to improve on those things and keep trying in the next ones.
On his goal-scoring form…
It feels really great. My teammates are always trying to help me and try to find me. It’s not the result we wanted but next match we are going to be better and hopefully get another goal.
On the quick starts to matches…
We did a pretty good job at times. We have to improve our pressure and keep trying. We need to make this a good week, have some good trainings, come together and go again in the next match.
