Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club’s USL Championship home match against Birmingham Legion FC on July 18 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Children’s Mercy Park. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.
The Central Division matchup was moved to Sept. 1 due to Children’s Mercy Park hosting matches for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup in mid-July.
Sporting KC II (1-3-3, 6 points) will continue their 2021 USL Championship campaign on Wednesday, visiting Atlanta United 2 (3-2-2, 11 points) at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia. Fans can stream the game live on ESPN Plus at 6:30 p.m. CT.
