Sporting Kansas City announced on Wednesday that it has loaned goalkeeper Alec Kann to the Swope Park Rangers for tonight’s match against Rio Grande Valley FC. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT at Children's Mercy Victory Field at Swope Soccer Village and the game will be available via live stream on SportingKC.com. Tickets for tonight's Bark at the Park match are still available and can be purchased here.
Sporting KC selected Kann in Stage One of the 2015 MLS Re-Entry Draft. The 25-year-old goalkeeper earned his first start for the club and made one save in a 1-1 road draw against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on April 27.
Kann is the fifth Sporting KC player to be loaned to USL affiliate Swope Park Rangers this year. Midfielders Jordi Quintilla and Jimmy Medranda featured for the club earlier this season while goalkeeper Jon Kempin and forward Daniel Salloi are currently on loan.
