Sporting Kansas City forward Willy Agada is one of four nominees for MLS Player of the Matchday with fan voting taking place on Twitter . Agada scored two goals in Saturday's 3-3 draw against the Portland Timbers and now has 12 goals in 11 career regular season starts at Children's Mercy Park, including four goals in two home appearances against Portland. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker has scored or assisted a goal in each of Sporting's last three matches.

The Sporting KC Academy U-14s, U-15s, U-17s and U-19s will continue their spring campaigns this weekend. The U-15s (11 a.m.) and U-17s (9 a.m.) will play an MLS NEXT doubleheader with FC Dallas on Saturday at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri.
