After recording three wins in seven days for the first time in club history last week, Sporting Kansas City will play a pair of Western Conference clashes this week as the team concludes a stretch of seven matches in 22 days.

On Wednesday, Sporting Kansas City will visit the Vancouver Whitecaps with kickoff set for 9:30 p.m. CT inside BC Place live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and SiriusXM (Ch. 167) for subscribers. Fans are invited to a special watch party in The Atrium at J. Rieger & Co. (2700 Guinotte Ave.) in Kansas City, Missouri with a live DJ and happy hour pricing from 8:30 p.m. CT until final whistle.

On Saturday, Sporting will host arch rivals St. Louis CITY SC with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. CT at Children's Mercy Park. Limited tickets are available via SeatGeek, including standing room only tickets, and ticket holders will receive a light up rally towel courtesy of match sponsor Children's Mercy Kansas City. Fans ages 21 and over are invited to attend the Michelob Ultra Blue Hell Tailgate from 5-6:30 p.m. CT in Blue Lot 2 at Kansas Speedway as well as the KC Cauldron and South Stand SC tailgates in the White Lot nearby.

Saturday's showdown with St. Louis will be free to watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in addition to a national television broadcast on FS1. Radio coverage for both matches will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM with live streams available in the Sporting KC App. Pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network will also show all of the action, including watch parties at No Other Pub in the KC Power & Light District.

BLOOD DRIVE AT NO OTHER PUB ON WEDNESDAY

Sporting Kansas City and Community Blood Center will continue their longstanding partnership this week when No Other Pub in the KC Power & Light District hosts a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday with all registered donors receiving a free "I Bleed Sporting Blue" t-shirt while supplies last. Community members can make an appointment for the blood drive online or by calling 1-877-468-6844. Appointments for the blood drive are strongly encouraged and parking will be validated for donors.

U.S. OPEN CUP SEMIFINAL TICKETS ON SALE WEDNESDAY

After a dramatic 2-1 quarterfinal win in extra time over FC Dallas last Wednesday, Sporting Kansas City will continue the club's quest for a record-tying fifth Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy with a semifinal match-up against USL Championship foe Indy Eleven at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Children's Mercy Park. Tickets for the cup clash will go on sale at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday via SeatGeek.

MLS SECONDARY TRANSFER WINDOW OPENS ON THURSDAY

Major League Soccer's Secondary Transfer Window, during which an MLS team may request the international transfer certificate of a player under contract in another country, opens on Thursday and will close on Aug. 14. Any trades between MLS clubs that involve players must take place within this transfer window.

NEW EPISODE OF BEHIND THE SHIELD PREMIERES THURSDAY

New in 2024, Behind the Shield presented by Audi will be available after every match this season with the video series - produced by Sporting's full-time digital storytellers - providing fans with an immersive viewing experience highlighted by exclusive interviews and all-access footage from SKC players, trainings and matchdays. This week's BTS captures the sights and sounds from the club's 2-1 win over FC Dallas in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals as well as the team's 2-1 victory at San Jose and will premier at noon CT on Thursday on SportingKC.com and Sporting Kansas City's YouTube channel.

SKC PICKUP SOCCER CLUB RETURNS ON FRIDAY

On Friday, Sporting KC is hosting free pick-up soccer games for local players ages 18 and older from 6-8 p.m. at Pembroke Hill - Wornall Campus (400 W. 51st St.) in Kansas City, Missouri. Click here to RSVP. SKC Pickup Soccer Club is a community initiative focused on providing fans access to unique pickup soccer opportunities across the Kansas City area throughout the year.

VICTORY RUN X PLANET FITNESS 5K ON SATURDAY

The Victory Project, Sporting Kansas City's charitable foundation, is partnering with Planet Fitness to host a 5K and Kids Dash at 8 a.m. CT on Saturday in Overland Park, Kansas (7200 W. 132nd St.) for walkers and runners of all ages. Race entrants will receive a medal, t-shirt and custom bib and proceeds will support The Victory Project in its mission to celebrate children's victories, big or small, through philanthropic initiatives supporting childhood cancer and access to soccer.

SPORTING KC II HOSTS ST. LOUIS ON SUNDAY

Sporting KC II will continue the MLS NEXT Pro campaign against Western Conference leaders St. Louis CITY2 at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday at Rock Chalk Park on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, Kansas.
