Sporting Kansas City (3-9-4, 13 points) will travel to face Nashville SC (6-4-5, 23 points) this Sunday in a nationally-televised match-up at 5 p.m. CT live on FS1 and FOX Deportes in the team's first match at GEODIS Park, which opened last month as the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States with 30,000 seats.
Sporting KC pub partners across the Midwest will be showing the match including an enhanced watch party at International Tap House (403 E. 18th St.) in Kansas City. Local radio broadcasts will also air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
MAJOR KC2026 EVENT ON THURSDAY
FIFA will make a major announcement related to the staging of the FIFA World Cup 2026 across Canada, Mexico and the United States during a live broadcast event from New York City starting at 4 p.m. CT on Thursday. CONCACAF U-20 CHAMPIONSHIP KICKS OFF
Sporting KC Academy forward Alex Umana was named to El Salvador's roster for the 2022 Concacaf Under-20 Championship in Honduras. El Salvador will open the competition - which will qualify four teams to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and two teams to the 2024 Olympic Games -- against Guatemala in Group G play at 3 p.m. CT on Sunday in a match that will be nationally televised on TUDN in the United States.
