After a 1-0 win over previously unbeaten Real Salt Lake on Saturday in a rematch of last year's Western Conference Semifinals, Sporting Kansas City (2-3-0, 6 points) will cross the Canadian border for a visit to Vancouver to face Whitecaps FC (0-3-1, 1 point) at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday at BC Place in a match-up of two teams that also met in the 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Saturday's showdown will be locally televised on 38 The Spot with three hours of coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT. The broadcast will also stream live on SportingKC.com and in the Sporting KC app for viewers in Kansas and Missouri (excluding St. Louis area per MLS policy), as well as ESPN+ for out-of-market subscribers. TZIONIS AND NDENBE ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY
Sporting KC winger Marinos Tzionis remains with the Cyprus Men's National Team ahead of the country's match-up with Estonia at 11 a.m. CT on Tuesday in the decisive second leg of the UEFA Nations League play-out series. The team's played to a scoreless draw in the first leg last week.
Sporting KC defender Logan Ndenbe is also on international duty with the Belgium U-21 Men's National Team for a pivotal 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying match against Denmark at 1 p.m. CT on Tuesday at MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark. Belgium sits atop Group I with a perfect 6-0-0 record in qualifying and can secure their berth in the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship with a win or draw on Tuesday.

COACHING COURSES IN KANSAS CITY
U.S. Soccer is accepting applications until 12 p.m. CT on Friday for nine Fall 2022 B License coaching education courses, including two courses at Compass Minerals National Performance Center in Kansas City, Kan. The B course is organized over a six-month period with a combination of virtual learning and in-person meetings. Female candidates accepted into the B License course will have 50 percent of their tuition waived thanks to the Jill Ellis Scholarship Fund.
SKC ACADEMY RETURNS HOME
Four Sporting Kansas City Academy teams will continue their MLS NEXT campaigns on Saturday. The U14's and U19's will play Solar SC, while the U15's and U17's will take on Minnesota United FC. All four matches will be held at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Mo.
