TODAY IS DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR SKC 5v5 FEST
Today is the deadline to register for the Sporting Kansas City 5v5 Fest, a one-day five-aside soccer festival for 1st and 2nd grade recreational teams as well as U8-U13 competitive teams on Saturday, May 25 at Central Bank Sporting Complex in Kansas City, Missouri. Proceeds from the tournament - which will feature a special appearance by a Sporting Kansas City player -- will support The Victory Project's Soccer Assist Grant and all teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three games
SKC ACADEMY CONTINUES CAMPAIGN THIS WEEK
The Sporting KC Academy U-15s and U-17s will conclude their participation in MLS NEXT Flex in Maryland on Tuesday. The U-15's will play the San Francisco Glens (12 p.m. CT ) while the U-17's will face Atlanta United (7:30 a.m. CT) with the winner automatically qualifying for the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs.
This weekend, the Sporting KC Academy U-19s will continue their UPSL spring campaign at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday when the team hosts Eagles Football Club at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri. The U-14s (1 p.m. CT), U-15s (3 p.m. CT) and U-17s (1 p.m. CT) will travel to Oklahoma to play FC Dallas in a doubleheader on Sunday on the campus of the University of Tulsa.
