One of the hottest strikers in the USL Championship is a finalist for the Fans' Choice Player of the Month.
Sporting Kansas City Academy product Wilson Harris showed out during the USL Championship's penultimate month of September, scoring six times and averaging a goal every 76 minutes for a streaking Swope Park Rangers side that has gone 3-1-1 in its last five games.
Supporters can cast their vote for Harris at USLChampionship.com through Monday at 11 a.m. CT.

Harris, 19, has bagged eight goals in his last nine matches and now has 10 total for the season, tied for the most among teenagers in the USL Championship. The California native is on the Fans' Choice Player of the Month ballot alongside Devon Sandoval of New Mexico United, Cameron Lindley of Memphis 901 FC, Joe Greenspan of Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and Daniel Musovski of Ren 1868 FC.
Voting in the USL Player of the Month Award will be conducted by the following three voting bodies:
- A fan vote on USLChampionship.com will comprise 51 percent of the poll. The fan vote will run through Monday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. CT.
- The USL Technical Committee’s ballots comprise 25 percent of the poll.
- The USL National Media Panel’s ballots comprise 24 percent of the poll.
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced next Thursday, Oct. 10.
Harris and the upstart Rangers will hit the road to face Hartford Athletic on Saturday. Kickoff at Dillon Stadium is slated for 6 p.m. CT and supporters can catch Saturday's contest streaming live on ESPN Plus. The USL Championship Match Center and @SwopeRangers on Twitter will provide additional in-game updates.
